The whole adventure bike market is indeed taking the piss, my Tex was £9,400 for a fully loaded, ex-factory (Mk1) bike, at the time (two years ago-ish) a new one (Mk2) would have been £12,000 to £14,000 fully loaded, since it's been split into three models with far too many electric toys the range now (Mk3)  is anywhere from £12,200 (basic XR) to just shy of £18,000 fully loaded XRT "Special".

The Sport 1050 isn't bad price wise, but the 800 with toys is ridiculous pricing for what it is.
There's no hope ........ he'll be an engineer !
