New Years resolutions. Anybody got any.
#1
Anybody got any? I had some plans for 2019. Was going to make some serious changes but, with one thing or another, that will be put on the back burner. Anybody going to make a change with the Man in the Mirror? Or got any plans to do something special?

I imagine some people use the 1st Jan as a starting point good on them whatever it is they are trying to achieve, I guess most will drift after a few days or weeks, I know the gym will be bonkers for the next two weeks while folk discover the shocking truth about fitness and getting fit, after that they will find an excuse and go back to the previous life style. Some will stick it out fair play to them.

It’s probably the same for people who want to write a book, learn a language, take up dancing it’s not a free lunch they all require commitment and you ether do it or find an excuse. “Be stronger than your excuses”

Not a resolution for me but a continuation of the sports training program I am doing got the next module in Jan

Stick with it people

Nailed it Chris. It's not a free lunch. Whatever people decide to do. It requires commitment. Get fit, going back to school etc - requires effort and time. Time is a major factor I find these days. When you work full time and then some, like a 10/11 hr day and then most Saturdays. Your free time gets consumed by your working time. It's bloody ridiculous but that's the way modern life is. Until you can come off the financial treadmill, then your pretty fucked for time. Unless you have a brilliantly paid, Dolly Parton job.

A man of your talents Lee could really go places if you wanted. If you've got the backing of your Mrs, then fuck it - roll the dice.

I did it and ran my own business, quite successfully until the recession hit the country. Could have carried on but the financial risk was way to high at the time. A few people carried on and lost the lot. Some carried on and are still in business.

I have no regrets whatsoever. In fact, we did alright to be fair and quite possibly could have carried on and rode the storm. As old F G said......Life's a box chocolates. You know the rest.

Once I'm out of this initial shit storm, I'm definitely putting some long overdue plans into action for sure.

Isn’t that going to severely limit the “swipe right” opportunities ?
