I’m guessing that those prices for the models listed it would be 1973/74.

Could be, but I paid £80 for my SH Puch Maxi in 1974, when I left school at 16   Tongue

Nothing like a bit of nostalgia.

Life was a lot simpler back then, reading the cost of a C50, these were purchased due to the family banger no longer able to pass an MOT and no buses running at 4am... to get you to the early shift.

When I started work in the early 80’s, the bike sheds were full of them, many looking rougher than a badgers behind.

Nowadays....where have the bike sheds gone?
