Been looking for a decent brand of clothing since Hien Gericke seem to be going further off grid.

Found these at Colwyn Bay Motorcycles... good fit and quality, especially compared with the likes of Rukka and..... name escapes me. Bugger! It’s back...! Klim.

£1200 for a jacket? Not a chance.

Anyways.... I’ll be investing in the new year....

Been going a fair few years these and always heard good reports - sadly out of my purse range.

Halvarssons have a good reputation I think and are not crazy money.

Rules and Klim are meant to be really good products, but the prices are a bit obscene and it’s hard to quantify where that cost is reflected in the clothes, yes they work well but are not stitched together with gold thread by a half-naked Balinese virgin (that I’m aware of).

For me, you’ve got to try stuff on, I’ve found the same sized gear from the same manufacturer can vary massively so I’m wary of buying online. That’s why I’ve ended up with Held textiles - with GetGeared in Leeds I was able to try plenty on. It wasn’t cheap but got some in the sale and they give you 10% off in store if you are a member of any biking organisation so that helps.

Why not see if Colwyn Bay will get close to the MotoLegends price?

Not yet, but even at mates rates his Klim gear is still going to be expensive
