Monkey business!
#1
Changed the oil today and went through it with a fine tooth comb. Fuck me - every nut and bolt was lose. I've gone through everything. The scary thing is, the engine bolts was lose Sad Lee - you really need to check them before get on it again mate. Seriously - make sure you check it all and change the oil. Adjusted the wheel and chain. It's all buttoned up again now - ready to rock'n roll again. It took a twatting TBF. Anyways - we are good to go again.

Good to hear you've been on your monkey's nuts.

Anything that can take 200 miles flat out can't be too bad.

Agreed! 200 miles flat out most of the time. Incredible really. I couldn't believe it when I found the engine wobbled  Laugh I reckon you'd have to fettle every time you did decent miles at full pelt. Well it is Chinese after all.  Angel

At about 1500 miles I would be cleaning out the oil filters.

If it's anything like mine, it involves an oil change as you need to remove the right hand engine case. There should be a centrifugal filter which needs the cover taking off and wiping clean. There should also be a screen mesh thing in the bottom case... this too needs removing and cleaning..
Reassemble and fill with oil etc.

Mine states 2.5k, but I think that's too far for such a small engine.

I've bought a number plate for mine and that's as far as my repairs have gone.

After Spain I need to focus, get stuck in, and get tightening!
