Well....

A mix of a Cortina P100 and a Sierra diesel... which was a Peugeot 2.3 non turbo...

Looks like a combination of Space 1999 meets Only Fools and Horses!

This could need a bit of cash throwing at it but I think paying a little bit higher initially like the one above. Would save a lot of hassle. I've got to get one of these.

What's the point in looking for a car now if you've moved it to 2 years away?

Just throwing ideas of what's out there. It's about a year and a half. Gives people a chance to get some pennies together. Even if you bought it early, plenty of time to get it right. It's going to take some planning and a bit of cash, which isn't going to happen overnight. If we're going to do this, we do it right. Everybody's going to have to muck in at different points. We can bring it forward a year if the majority want to. Once we get definites - we can start to put a proper plan together.

The engineering calendar must be slightly different then as Spring/Summer 2019 is definitely 2 years away on mine  Laugh

I know there's a lot of planning involved, I started this ball rolling over a year ago, but all I meant is that if we bought a car now it'll have to spend a long time stood cluttering up drives, even factoring in a bit of tweaking and tarting up time.

You know me, I'll just go wi' Flo - she's a proper mucky bird.

No dates or time scales are set in stone yet. Once we have the people set up, then proper planning starts. It's good to keep it going and fresh in people's minds. So it's the people confirmed first and then we'll decide - what rally sometime in the year of 2019 we're going for. The rest will follow.

Indeed.... all that creative talent you have Lee....

However! I dropped a seed of thought his way regarding a challenge for the foreseeable future. Think..... Michael Caine.

Come on chaps... stop swinging your Gucci and DolcheGabanna faux handbags....

Naturally you'll need a highly skilled electrical/mechanical engineer..... easy Kevin... that's not you by the way... it's me Rolleyes

Lee could be called in to fit new number plates or suspension....

Kev, you're quite right, definately the creative mind behind this project, I'd get back in that hammock and have another brew, safe in the knowledge that it's your brains and our brawn will pull this all together Angel
